Zambia is open for lion hunting again, but can there be many takers?
Tuesday 30th August 2016
It would appear that Zambia is gearing up for the 2017 hunting season. Applications for the allocation of quotas have been announced, probably indicating that most of the legal problems surrounding previous allocations of hunting concessions have been sorted out. It would also appear that concerns leading to the imposition of a lion trophy hunting moratorium in January 2013 have been assuaged, or at least papered over. This is rediculousl!!!! This is the 21 century, lets's ;put this all behind us.... There is no need to kill animals for trophies, Kind of sounds like a bunch of spoiled brats getting their way cause they are rich. Serioulsy, why are we hunting non consumable animals? If there is a reason, only the Trophy Hunters can tell you and they all came from the same school of stupity. The only lines they know are: We do it for conservation..It saves the species,. feeds local comunities..creates jobs etc. I don't buy it. Trophy hunters are a circle of spawn from rich famileis who are addicted to killing mostly large beautiful and dangerous animals. These animals are not game, they are mammals, just like us and beleive it or not there are thousands of breeds of animals who are far more intelligent than we are. There is no place for this anymore, not that there ever really was one but at this point, we have to put a stop to this.
These peoople are not superior to us and they should follow the rules just like the rest of us. Trophy hunting needs to stop, we're running out of time. If the Fish and Wildlife gives out a single permit to these assholes then maybe we need to investigate them and take action..
I don't understand why France can say 'NO More" and we say, "well, um. maybe".. The U.S. should say "NO" period. U.S. needs to take a stand and protect. Not take orders from Politics or who ever we keep tripping over to get the rule out. I think the Fish and Wildlife is answering to someone else. They allowed the Rhino killer to bring back the head, even when they were aware that the Texas Safari Club was willing to give him back his money if he couldn't bring it back.
