Liz is a part time artist and cartoonist.She has three lovely girls.
She lives on a farm full of animals in Northland New Zealand.

“Her art is inspired by the natural world. Liz has a strong committment to the preservation of endangered wildlife which is the expressed through each work she creates. She works in a number of mediums including pencil, water colour, coloured pencil and soft pastel.”

This artwork was inspired by the recognition that the African Lion is fast disappearing. It was based upon a magnificent white male lion named Laduma who resides at Zion Wildlife Gardens in Northland New Zealand.

The artwork has been created especially for the LionAid campaign in support of the cause.
