Lioness killed inside Amboseli Park, Kenya
Friday 24th August 2012
Eight lions have been killed in Kenya in the last two months and this is the latest one in Amboseli National Park.
LionAid is planning to go to Kenya, hopefully in October, to talk with the Kenya Wildlife Service, the Lion Research Project in Nairobi National Park, Eseriani (an as yet unofficial wildlife conflict resolution communities group, recently formed following contributory advice from LionAid), Wildlife Clubs of Kenya ( a very good schools based wildlife educational programme) as well as a number of NGOs and private individuals.
